NYC man punched in head by stranger demanding to know if he’s Mexican
A man walking in East Harlem was punched in the head by stranger who demanded to know if the victim was Mexican, police said Tuesday.
The 43-year-old victim was confronted by the bigot — who asked “Are you Mexican?” — on E. 111th St. near Park Ave. about 11:50 p.m. Nov. 4, cops said.
When the victim replied “Yes,” the stranger punched him in the head before running off.
The victim took himself to the hospital for a minor injury. His attacker has not been caught.
Cops released a surveillance image of the suspect Tuesday and asked the public’s help identifying him and tracking him down.
