Kate Middleton picks pink sequins (and Princess Diana’s tiara) for Buckingham Palace diplomatic reception

‘Tis the season for tiaras.

Kate Middleton sparkled in the Lover’s Knot Tiara as she attended the annual Diplomatic Corps Reception at Buckingham Palace Tuesday, rewearing a pink embellished Jenny Packham gown for the the glamorous event.

The 41-year-old royal sported Princess Diana’s favorite headpiece, which includes diamonds and elegant pearls and has become a go-to for the new Princess of Wales.

She’s worn the tiara multiple times since the Diplomatic Reception in 2015, including at various state banquets through the years.

She paired the diadem with a small diamond brooch and the Greville Chandelier Earrings, a sentimental set from the late Queen Elizabeth II’s collection.

The mom of four previously wore the same gown and jewels in June for Crown Prince Hussein and Rajwa Al Saif’s royal wedding reception in Jordan.

The summer affair marked the first time the Princess of Wales wore the earrings, which Queen Elizabeth received as a wedding present from her mother.

Queen Camilla also nodded to the late monarch by wearing the Girls of Great Britain and Ireland Tiara, which was given to Queen Elizabeth as a wedding present from her grandmother, Queen Mary.

She chose an intricately detailed white coat dress featuring three-dimensional florals, accessorizing with a massive diamond brooch, a matching bracelet and clustered diamond earrings.

Both Camilla and Kate also wore the Royal Family Order of Queen Elizabeth II, a yellow sash with a portrait of the late monarch in her younger years, which is awarded to female members of the royal family for state banquets.

While Middleton sported a dark blue sash denoting her rank as Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order, Camilla — as well as King Charles III and Prince William — wore a larger, light blue Order of the Garter sash.

Earlier Tuesday, the Princess of Wales sported a more businesslike look to visit a children’s hospital, debuting a new royal blue Alexander McQueen blazer ($2,390) that she already owns in a variety of colors, including white, black, pink and navy.

She paired the jacket with slim-fit trousers in the same shade, wearing a navy sweater underneath and accessorizing with Princess Diana’s sapphire-and-diamond earrings and necklace.
