WWE Raw Ratings Analysis for 3/25/2024

The latest episode of “WWE Raw” generated considerable buzz among fans owing to the star-studded lineup, resulting in a modest uptick in ratings and viewership.

According to data from “Wrestlenomics,” the March 25 installment of “Raw” attracted a viewership of 1,729,000, representing a 2 percent increase compared to the previous week. Additionally, the coveted 18-49 demographic saw an uptick, with a rating of 0.57, up from 0.55 the prior week, indicating a 4 percent rise. Notably, this demographic performed better than the average of the preceding four weeks.

Despite facing stiff competition from the NCAA women’s basketball match between Iowa and West Virginia, which drew an audience of nearly 5 million according to the “Wrestling Observer,” “Raw” managed to hold its ground.

Taking place at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, the show boasted a lineup brimming with marquee names, including hometown hero CM Punk, along with luminaries such as The Rock, Cody Rhodes, Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, and Rhea Ripley. These stars provided fervent promotion for their respective WrestleMania matches.

Unsurprisingly, the segment featuring Punk, McIntyre, and Rollins exchanging verbal jabs emerged as the highlight of the show in terms of viewership, with approximately 2.2 million viewers tuning in during that quarter. Reports indicate a blend of scripted and improvised elements during this segment, adding to its allure.

Other notable segments, such as The Rock and Cody Rhodes’ initial confrontation in the ring, as well as Lynch and Ripley’s segment, also garnered healthy viewership, each attracting around 1.74 million viewers. However, viewership tapered off during the final quarter of the show, where The Rock delivered a brutal assault on Cody Rhodes, drawing in 1.67 million viewers.

Looking ahead, anticipation mounts for next week’s “Raw,” which serves as the final installment before WrestleMania 40. Set to take place at the Barclays Center in New York, the show promises the presence of The Rock, adding to the excitement surrounding the event.
