Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center Begins Construction In Midland, Texas – HCD Magazine

Operators Midland County Hospital District (Midland, Texas) and Ector County Hospital District (Odessa, Texas), along with the Texas Facilities Commission (Austin, Texas), started construction on the Permian Basin Behavioral Health Center in Midland, Texas.

Situated on 54 acres, the 200-bed center will offer short- and long-term treatment for psychiatric patients of all ages. The $225 million facility will house a crisis stabilization unit, outpatient center, and community education center.

The project team includes architect HKS (Dallas) and general contractor Robins & Morton (Birmingham, Ala.).
