According to reports, police responded to a distress call at 1:50 a.m. local time, indicating an armed individual barricaded inside a residence with family members. Superintendent Drew Evans of the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension described the situation as a “domestic violence situation” involving seven children aged 2 to 15.
