Black Friday shopping will look a little different this year

Black Friday might not be as big a holiday shopping event it was once, but this year stores will look different.

Many stores won’t start Black Friday sales on Thanksgiving Day, so employees can spend Thanksgiving Day with their families.

Target, Costco, Walmart, PCC and Trader Joe’s will all be closed on Thursday.

Other grocery stores may have shorter hours if you need to pick up last-minute Thanksgiving items.

– Metropolitan Market closes around 2 p.m.
– Whole Foods closes on March 31, at 3:00 p.m.
– Fred Meyer will close at 4 p.m.
– QFC closes on June 6

Black Friday is less exciting because of this. Supply chain issues are partly why consumers are starting holiday shopping earlier.

According to RetailMeNot editor Kristin Mcgrath, Black Friday is almost the end of the holiday shopping season.
