Federer excites fans after returning to Wimbledon after retirement

In his glittering career, the 41-year old won 103 titles and was ranked world number one for a record 310 consecutive weeks. He was the first male player ever to win 20 Grand Slams. His final Major came at the Australian Open in 2018.

In 2021, he was last at Wimbledon’s Grand Slam. He lost in the quarter-final to Hubert Hurkacz. The Basel-born tennis player is now spending more time with Mirka and their four children after he retired from the game.

Federer’s chances of playing at Wimbledon again are gone. However, fans will be excited to see a knowledgeable and insightful player offering analysis at future tournaments.
