England World Cup fixture list Every day they play including kick-off

England are hoping to bring football home over the next month as they travel to Qatar for the Gareth Southgate.

England’s first opponent is Iran, with USA and a fellow home country Wales making up Group A. Southgate’s team will be hoping to still be in Qatar on the 18th of December for the World Cup Final.

Express Sport guides you through the important dates of England’s World Cup campaign. All kick-off times are GMT.

Group B

Iran (1pm Monday, November 21st)

USA (7pm Friday, November 25th)

Wales (7pm, Tuesday, November 29)

Monday’s match against Iran will be Harry Kane and his team’s first in Qatar. This is the second match of the tournament and comes the day after Qatar’s opening against Ecuador.

England will now face the USA, who they met in groups during the disastrous 2010 World Cup. Clint Dempsey was able to score a goal against Steven Gerrard in a 1-1 draw thanks to Rob Green’s terrible error.

Southgate’s side may want to score maximum points before they take on Wales on November 29.

England now faces a well-publicized dilemma. The Three Lions are in line to take FIFA action should Harry Kane, captain of England, wear the One Love armband. This is to show solidarity with the LGBTQ movement. The England skipper was warned that he could face a yellow card and possibly a ban at a later stage of the tournament.
